To Rent or Not to Rent -- On the Top Floor

Con: Watch Your Step!

You know all those insanity inducing sounds from above that you'll avoid by living on the top floor? Well, that will be you making those sounds now. You'll need to be a little more conscientious with your noise-making in an upstairs apartment. This perk to ground-floor living will allow you to be far less self-conscious of your every move than you'd be living above someone. This is no small factor to consider. First-floor living gives you more leeway in your everyday activities than any other floor in an apartment building.
