To Rent or Not to Rent -- On the Top Floor

Pro: No Footsteps Overhead
A top-floor apartment can be the quietest one in your building. At the very least you will be spared the sounds of children and pets running around above you, early risers stumbling from their beds and waking you up at 5 a.m., and clueless aerobics enthusiasts working out above your living room.

Con: Watch Your Step!

You know all those insanity inducing sounds from above that you'll avoid by living on the top floor? Well, that will be you making those sounds now. You'll need to be a little more conscientious with your noise-making in an upstairs apartment.
