Ho ho ho, the contractor dance --
I’m ready to work, please give me a chance!
What? What? You want it done tomorrow?
Well, I’m busy then, to my great sorrow.

La la la, the contractor song --
I promise to never do anything wrong.
This painted carpet? This leaky new pipe?
My work’s just fine (for a certain type).

Hee hee hee, the contractor air --
I suppose you want a price that is fair?
I’m the best, I tell you, I’m in my prime!
Just don’t ask me to show up on time.

Rah rah rah, the contractor cheer --
Just let me make one little thing clear.
I can get the job done, if that’s what you seek
I’ll quote you a price, sometime next week.
